The color of the Himalayan Blue Granite varies from gray-black to dark-blue, depending on the amount of iron in its composition. The darker hues have less iron content and are more desirable. The stone?s name comes from its unique coloration, which resembles that of the clear blue waters of the Ganges River in India. It also resembles the sky at sunrise or sunset when it reflects light with a slight hint of green tinged with yellow and orange tones.
It is a very popular material, but it?s not just for decorative purposes. This material can be used for many things, including countertops, sinks, bathroom vanities and faucets, flooring, outdoor paving and more! Also, it is an excellent choice for countertops because it has a high density and will not chip or crack easily.
